Introduction

Glayol Banaie entered college at the mere age of 15 studying Computer Science. She got her masters at the age of 21 specializing in Artificial intelligence.

Glayol used to always draw from a young age and her passion for painting always lurked within her but only manifested itself in summer of 2000 on her first trip to Paris at the Louvre Museum. This experience ignited her curiosity and passion to paint in such an unfathomable way that she started to explore painting extensively.

She began her studies at the NY Academy School of Art and then Scottsdale Art school. She has been studying with Milt Kobayashi for many years and admires his work immensely. Glayol has dedicated significant time to enhance her painting skills, extended her studies by learning more about the painting techniques used by admirable artists/masters such as Malcolm Liepke, Vincent Van Gogh, Sargent and Matisse.

Glayol's art expresses pure human love, euphoria, melancholy, nostalgia, and other extreme emotions through a brilliant use of vivid colors, and application of intense brush strokes. The result is a true depiction of child-like innocence and distinct individual souls through strong visual elements that connect with the viewers inner-self. Glayol's art is an authentic display of heart and talent. By continuing to create unique paintings, she has reached a life full of deep passion.
